I was unimpressed by this show. Mainly by the lack of the character development. The main cast was plain boring, Eren being the epitome of cliche'd shounen anime characters going all I'M GONNA BECOME STRONG AND KILL 'EM ALL, BELIEVE IT.
The story had some weird twists and plotholes that I guess could be forgiven if season 2 does it right, but then again, I don't think I enjoyed the first season enough to watch the second when it comes out. Seriously though, that part where he was supposed to block the hole in the wall got me feeling like I was wathing Dragon Ball Z again where it takes 3 hundred billion episodes to screw in a light bulb.
Yeah, the whole setting and idea was pretty cool and all, but I don't think the show lives up to its potential.
Ironically though, Levi was one of my favourite male characters in the history of anime. Too bad he was not enough to save the entire show.
He's burned down many a bridge
And he's scared of walking in the dark
It hurts when the rain falls on his skin
