Genre: Drama, Romance, Science fiction
Plastic Memories takes place in a city in the near future, in which humans live alongside androids that look exactly like humans and have human emotion and memory. SAI Corp, the leading android production company, has introduced the Giftia, a new android model with the most human-like qualities of any model. The lifespan of a Giftia is 81,920 hours (roughly nine years and four months), and if they pass their expiration date, it causes personality disintegration, memory loss and outbreaks of violence. As a result, the employees of the Terminal Service (responsible for retrieving androids who are close to reaching the end of their service lives and erasing the androids' memories) must go to the owner of the Giftia and retrieve it. Those assigned to the Terminal Service work in teams consisting of a human (called a "spotter") and a Giftia (called a "marksman"). The story follows protagonist Tsukasa Mizugaki and a Giftia named Isla, both of whom work in SAI Corp's Terminal Service No. 1 office.

My rating/opinion:
9.5/10, was really great and made me cry a lot.
It's a real tear jerker.
I love it, beautiful art, great characters.
Should watch it.

So many bad reviews because apparently people wanted an actiony sci-fi anime.
9/10 - Many feels, I might have cried. You have no proof.
I wanted to protect that smile.

Never actually got to finish this anime but from the episodes I have seen so far, it is really good :) Not the type of anime that I usually watch and enjoy but it is good

They should have read the tags before watching it then.
The only reason it was tagged with "science fiction" was because there was androids.
There is semi-action (especially with Maria&Souta) but come on.
It mostly centers on the relationship between Isla and Tsukasa.
I think it's a really great anime and I cried everywhere and got a headache afterwards.

Omggggg. Plastic Memories brought so many feels. Honestly, I would usually prefer the action type kinda anime, but I really enjoyed this one. Would still recommend though. :3
