Thunderstorm strikes Southern Ontario

It's raining like mad out there right now.

Earlier this evening I was at ribfest, and suddenly it was pouring mad rain (didn't have umbrella so I was soaking wet). All of a sudden you see this white flash in your face and the loudest thunder could be heard. Scared me to death.

My neighbour's tree got split in half and one half of the tree is right at the entrance to my house. G_G

Now I have trouble sleeping cause of all the noise outside.

lightning is beautiful , but not when it like. almost kills you or something.
@raining here too , thunder noises also
